Job Description​ The Opportunity: Saint Luke’s Hospital, our Plaza location, is seeking a Barista. Shift Details: 40 hours per week 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM on weekends 9:00 AM to 5:30 on weekdays The Work: - Proficiently prepares drinks following customer orders and our standard recipes. - Ensures that all drip coffee varieties are brewed fresh and replenished promptly. - Maintains proper food handling procedures when serving drinks, pastries, and gelato. - Routinely cleans and sanitizes workstations as well as customer seating areas and self service areas. - Accurately rings sales orders into cash register and counts back change to customers in a courteous and friendly manner. - Greets all customers with fast, friendly, personalized service and develops a rapport with customers by learning their names, favorite drinks and food items. - Restocks shelves and coolers with products while ensuring proper rotation procedures (FIFO). - Follow proper cleaning procedures for all equipment (smoothie machine, espresso machines, dishwasher, coolers). - Prepare to answer customer questions in a friendly manner, including directions around the hospital. - Preps and prepares menu items and recipes a...
