JOB DESCRIPTION: POSITION: OUR CHILDREN’S SHELTER CHILDCARE SPECIALIST: CLASSIFICATION CODE: NON- EXEMPT P ART TIME: DEPARTMENT : RESIDENTIAL SERVICES: REPORTS TO: OUR CHILDREN’S SHELTER SITE SUPERVISOR: S TATE MENT OF JOB : This position supervise s and care s for abused, abandoned and/or neglected children ages birth to 18 years that are in protective custody in residential at Our Children Shelter (Youth Group Home) of the White Mountain Apache Tribe . The Chil dcar e Specialist shall ensure that resident’s basic needs such as shelter, safety, food, and clothing are met in compliance as outlined in ABHS policies & procedures and residential manuals.
