Job Description Overview: Supports the delivery of ITS/Technology design activities across the M25 network. Working under the guidance of senior engineers, the role involves assisting with the development, review, and coordination of design solutions for a range of roadside technology assets. Will contribute to safe, cost‑effective, and compliant designs while developing professional engineering skills, technical knowledge, and experience of the full project lifecycle. The role includes structured mentoring, on‑the‑job learning, and opportunities for progression toward professional accreditation. Your role: - Assist in the preparation of ITS/Technology designs for assets such as CCTV, signals, VMS, ERT, and MIDAS, under supervision from senior engineers. - Contribute to the production of drawings, documents, and technical reports. - Support senior engineers during design reviews to ensure completeness and compliance with standards. - Participate in optioneering and feasibility activities, including data gathering and basic assessment work. - Help compile design briefs, technical inputs, and documentation for design suppliers. - Assist in monitoring progress against programme and bu...
