Job DetailsJob Location: Omaha Zoo - Omaha, NE 68107Position Type: Part TimeJob Title: Adventure Guide FLSA Status: Non-exempt: Classification: Seasonal (April - September): Hours: 20 - 24 hours per week including weekends and holidays Pay Rate: $15.40/hour: This is a seasonal position with a maximum duration of six months, based on individual performance and business operations. The exact end date will be determined by the official start date. Summary: Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo & Aquarium is seeking an Adventure Guide to guide child/adult play interactions in the Children's Adventure Trails exhibit. Adventure Guides help to develop the child's physical capabilities, cognitive abilities and strengthen social emotional skills. Adventure Guides implement new play activities and model the best child/parent interactions. Adventure Guides strive to enrich children's natural curiosity through diverse, child-centered explorations. This position reports directly to the Children's Adventure Trails Supervisor.
