Work Shift: Day (United States of America) Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Compensation: Union Position: No Department Details: M-F; daytime hours and other as needed Summary: Performs daily imaging and delivers daily prescribed therapeutic radiation doses to radiation therapy patients safely and accurately. Job Description: The therapist incorporates their technical knowledge of the equipment and expertise of clinical treatment set-up, anatomical landmarks, treatment recording and management during patient care. The therapist must be able to interact effectively and accurately with patients and their family members, physicians, healthcare workers, and radiation oncology department personnel. Possesses the skills and knowledge necessary to be proficient in accurate delivery of prescribed doses of radiation, safety of patient during treatment, and documentation of patient care in the patient treatment record and inpatient chart (if applicable).
