SUMMARY: The Events & Communications Intern will support a high-performing Events Team during a peak period of activity, assisting with the planning and execution of a complex portfolio of corporate and charity events. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, organized individual interested in gaining hands-on experience in event operations, communications, and stakeholder coordination. - Contract Dates: May to September - Work Arrangement: at least 2 days a week at the Markham head office (typically Tuesdays and Thursday are anchor days) KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Support the delivery of five Charity Golf Tournaments within a five-month period Assist with additional events including: - US Vendor Forum & Innovation Awards Dinner - Canadian Vendor Forum & Innovation Awards Dinner - Strategic Partnership Meeting - Gala Dinner - Manage event registration processes, including guest tracking and attendee communications - Assist with invoicing, sponsorship payments, and financial reconciliation - Coordinate and maintain accurate event data and reporting - Support development and distribution of marketing and communications materials, including event pages, invitations, confirmat...
