Responsibilities: Clinical Patient Care: Teaching Duties (specific to designated Legacy sites) - Provides prompt and efficient medical care, including call coverage, to patients assigned to inpatient service of the Department of Medicine as scheduled. - Performs duties at the professional level of quality and efficiency established by Hospital. - Collaborates with Emergency Department Clinical Staff to determine the most appropriate site of care for individual patients. - Collaborates with physicians, nursing and administrative staff to maximize cost-effective use of clinical resources. - Provides prompt and clear communication about patients’ admission, condition changes and discharge to clinicians responsible for o...
