Overview ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Performs non-technical repairs and maintenance tasks in the NASA HQ building and offsite locations. - Responsible for carpentry maintenance and repair tasks, drywall repair, painting, door and hardware repair/replacement, mounting wall fixtures and signage, exhibit display set-up/breakdown, carpet tile installation, furniture assembly/disassembly, and equipment repair. - Assists with transportation, moving, and set-up of furniture, equipment, and appliances as directed by the government. - Utilizes moving trucks and other provided vehicles to transport and deliver items to designated locations. - Responds to service requests and completes tasks according to the priority time frames established in the performance standards. - Prioritizes and schedules work orders efficiently, ensuring timely completion of tasks and customer satisfaction. - Provides and maintains all necessary equipment, tools, and personal protective equipment required to perform facilities services at NASA HQ. - Ensures equipment is properly used, maintained, and stored in compliance with safety guidelines. - Repairs and maintains furniture, fixtures, and equipment...
