The Certified Medical Assistant is able to demonstrate the knowledge, ability, and skills necessary to safely administer medications in the ambulatory care setting. Along with the providers and other clinical staff, this position also ensures the delivery of quality health care services to the ambulatory patient. Exhibits the MHS Standards of Excellence and exercises strict confidentiality at all times. Job Functions: Demonstrates the skills and judgment necessary to contribute to a medical plan of care and assists with procedures as necessary for the care of the patient through knowledge of clinic policies and procedures.
