Theatre: Full-Time Tenure-Line Faculty (two positions)

Description The Department of Performing Arts in the College of Arts and Sciences at American University invites applications for two tenure-line positions in Theatre/Musical Theatre to begin in August 1st, 2020: one at the rank of ASSOCIATE/FULL PROFESSOR, one at the rank of ASSISTANT PROFESSOR. We seek highly dedicated teachers and artists/scholars who are deeply committed to interdisciplinary learning, innovative and impactful practice in scholarly/artistic work, and the preparation of students for life in a diverse and rapidly changing global society. ASSOCIATE/FULL PROFESSOR candidates will have an established regional/national/international reputation in creative, professional, and/or scholarly practice with continuing potential for growth, and significant experience in teaching at the undergraduate level. The most competitive candidates will already be qualified for tenure consideration.
