About Us: Artera is an AI startup that develops medical artificial intelligence tests to personalize therapy for cancer patients. Artera is on a mission to personalize medical decisions for patients and physicians on a global scale. The Laboratory Assistant will perform various tasks to support the laboratory technical staff; specimen procurement, specimen processing, lab testing, send outs and the maintenance of quality assurance records. This position is on-site in Jacksonville, FL. The schedule is Tuesday - Saturday, 2 PM - 10 PM EST. Duties/Responsibilities: - Assists with receiving, identifying, accessioning, processing, transporting and storing specimens. - Operates laboratory equipment and performs routine instrument maintenance, troubleshooting and minor repairs. - Performs quality assurance activities. - Maintains adequate stock of supplies and manages the inventory by transporting and distributing supplies. - Performs other duties as assigned.
