Child Exploitation and Edge of Care Team Manager

Job description

We are seeking an experienced and passionate leader to manage one of our Child Exploitation and Edge of Care teams. This service delivers a wraparound, relational approach to supporting vulnerable young people, focusing on child sexual and criminal exploitation, children missing from home or care, and those at risk of entering care. The aim is to reduce risks outside the home, address extra-familial harm, and support young people to remain safely within their families and communities. In this pivotal role, you will lead, manage and coordinate a specialist team delivering high-quality, risk-led and evidence-informed interventions. You will work closely with Thames Valley Police, Social Care, Education and a wide range of partners to prevent and disrupt harm, ensuring a strong, collaborative multi-agency response. You will play a key role in shaping and embedding a new Edge of Care offer, ensuring alignment with the wider vision and principles of Slough Children First.
