Job Details Patient Safety Associate - Part Time 7a-7p Job Description: Patient Safety Assocaite maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for our patients. They do not provide any direct patient care. They have 2 roles. Shifts: Patient Safety Associates work 8-hour or 12-hour shifts. Commitments: - 1:1 observation: usually the assigned role, expected to be within arms reach and keep the patient in eye sight at all times, while redirecting them, preventing harmful behaviors, and noting changes in patient behaviors -  Continuous rounder: assigned to multiple rooms and instructed to enter room, assess patient and environment, and then move on to the next room on a continuous basis. - Shift times: day shift start: 0630am-3pm - Evening shift start: 2:30pm-11pm - Night shift start: 10:30pm-7am - Per diem: 64 hours in a 6-week schedule period with 16 Saturday hours, 16 Sunday hours, 32 weekdays hours. The 64 hours must be the completed during the assigned shift time. All additional hours worked are flexible with shift times. Work one summer and one winter holiday.
