Overview Department: Pharmacy Schedule: 7-on/7-off Shift: Wednesday 9:00 PM–7:30 AM through Tuesday 9:00 PM–7:30 AM Facility: Prime Healthcare – St. Mary of Nazareth Hospital Location: 2233 W. Division St., Chicago, IL 60622 **Sterile compounding experience** **One-year of hospital experience** The Pharmacy Technician assists the Pharmacist, under direct supervision, in the daily operations of the pharmacy. This role is responsible for supporting the preparation, dispensing, and distribution of medications while ensuring accuracy and compliance with established policies and regulations. Responsibilities: Assist pharmacists in processing and filling prescriptions accurately and efficiently. Maintain inventory by receiving, stocking, and tracking medications and supplies. Provide courteous and professional customer service to patients and healthcare providers. Prepare labels, count medications, and package prescriptions as directed by the pharmacist. Ensure work areas are clean, organized, and compliant with safety and regulatory standards. Support the pharmacy team with administrative and clerical tasks as needed.
