Performs a wide range of clerical duties in support of assigned patient care department as well as extensive monitoring function for all cardiac telemetry and hard-wire monitored patients. This position monitors a specified number of patients ordered pulse oximetry and capnography in a centralized location. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE: 1. High School Diploma or equivalent 2. Obtain certification in Heartsaver OR Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire date To be completed as established by department: (Administered at Department level) 1. Successful completion of a Basic Dysrhythmia course. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE: 1. Graduate of Technical Education Program or Medical Assistant Program.
