Job Description OPEN ONLY TO THOSE PERMANENT IN THE CIVIL SERVICE TITLE OF ELECTRICIAN: The Division of Administration, Bureau of Operations seeks to hire an Electrician. Duties will include but not be limited to: - Installation, repairs, replacements and maintenance of electric wiring systems and components, equipment and apparatus in or on building structures in accordance with the provisions of the NYC electrical code, pertinent plans and specification or job orders. - Install, repair, raceway and electrical conductors. - Make tests on existing installations to determine faults and make necessary repairs. Preferred Skills: Candidates will be required to possess a Motor Vehicle Driver License valid in the State of New York. This license must be maintained for the duration of employment.
