Deer Park Food Store presents the perfect opportunity for you! We're currently looking for a Bakery Clerk to join our dynamic team. Position: Bakery Clerk: Availability: Weekdays and weekends- mornings, afternoons, and evenings. Casual: Less than 24 hours per week Responsibilities: Provide exceptional customer service Package and label bakery products for sale Perform tasks such as slicing bread, frying donuts, utilizing ovens Assist in production as directed by bakers Stock shelves and pull freezer products as needed Assist in setting up products for the following day Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager Qualifications: Excellent communication skills - Maintain a clean and safe work environment Strong organizational skills: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; some heavy lifting is required Prior experience in a bakery setting is an asset; however, training is available Applicants must be over 14 years old.
