Job description

Minimum qualifications: - JD, LL.B., equivalent degree, or equivalent practical experience. - Admitted to the bar and in good standing or otherwise authorized to practice law (e.g., have registered in-house status) in the state in which the position is located. - 7 years of attorney-level experience in government, in-house, or at a law firm. - Successful candidate must be an Australian citizen, and will be required to obtain NV1 clearance under the Australian Government Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF). Preferred qualifications: - Strong private practice experience along with relevant in-house experience, with deep domain expertise in Australian public sector and systems integration (SI) contracting including DISP requirements, PSPF, IRAP, ISM, and HCF. - Ability to distill complex topics into easy-to-understand and digest issues. - Ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment by finding pragmatic and creative ways to support sales professionals. - Strong knowledge of defence procurement guidelines, PGPA Act and federal guidelines on government contracting. - Strong people management skills (managing customers and clients).
