Job description

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Batchelor’s degree in Engineering, Geology, Environmental Sciences, Chemistry, Industrial Hygiene, or a related discipline is required. Six years of directly related experience in environmental and safety codes and regulations, EHS program development and implementation, and conducting complex environmental safety surveys, assessments, and accident investigations are required. Must possess a working knowledge of state and federal environmental regulations and industry standards applicable to environmental management. Experience with Environmental Health and Safety Programs in a transit environment is desired. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. In lieu of a degree, directly related work experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis.
