Job Responsibilities The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina, is seeking a Budget Director in the Finance and Business Department. Reporting directly to the Vice President for Finance & Business, the Budget Director leads the Budget Office and partners with academic and administrative leaders to ensure sound fiscal stewardship, long term financial sustainability, and alignment of resources with institutional priorities. In addition, this role is also responsible for the following: - Leads the development, coordination, and administration of the College’s annual operating budget, which includes all revenues and expenditures including labor - Prepare multi‑year financial projections and long‑range forecasts tied to enrollment, tuition, state appropriations, and institutional priorities - Develop and maintain budget models and assumptions to support strategic and operational planning; also perform scenario modeling to evaluate financial impacts - Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for VP for Finance & Business, senior leadership and the Board of Visitors - Partners with deans, vice presidents, department heads, and program leaders on budget planning a...
