The YMCA of Pierce and Kitsap Counties is seeking a Manager on Duty to join our team. The YMCA focuses on empowering people in all forms, by improving health and well-being and inspiring action in and across our neighborhoods. This position supports the work of the Y, a leading non-profit, charitable organization committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. As the Manager on Duty, you will oversee branch operations and administration by ensuring staff and members are in compliance with all YMCA policies and practices, supervising branch staff, and responding to emergencies and member incidents. Key Responsibilities: - Open and/or close the facility following proper procedures. - Do facility walk-throughs during your shift. - Support the Membership desk and Welcome Center. - Build relationships with Members. - Be the first responder to emergencies and incidents. - Ensure safety and cleanliness standards are being maintained.
