Job description

Dr. Brad B. Smith 's lab is hiring one postdoctoral fellow to join his Arizona team. This Research Fellow may support the day‑to‑day operations of an academic research program. This will include assisting with manuscript preparation and submission, supporting grant development activities, coordinating research documentation, and managing research data in accordance with institutional and regulatory requirements. The individual may provide general study support across multiple projects, working closely with investigators, research staff, and collaborators to ensure timely and organized execution of research activities. The Research Fellow may observe areas where their research directly impacts clinical care with opportunities to improve processes and feedback mechanisms. A Research Fellow in Engineering (ENG) is based on role and responsibilities requiring Engineering skills regardless of Ph.D. background. Main skills used in this track may include setting up mechanical research equipment, developing experimental protocols, knowledge of machine learning algorithms, implementing protocols, and/or providing engineering technical expertise and analysis.
