Location: Methodist Hospital OR Shift: 1.0 FTE 40 Hours Weekly Day Shift Position: RN - Clinical Specialty Coordinator – Spine The Clinical Nurse - Clinical Specialty Coordinator coordinates a service line of care (Spine) for a similar patient population of high-acuity patients of all ages within the OR. Responsibilities include comprehensive assessment, clinical judgment of physiological health, monitoring patient status, and developing appropriate care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team. This role serves as a clinical expert to assigned staff, acts as a strong unit leader, and performs unit and system leadership activities as needed to support the specific service line. The coordinator applies advanced clinical knowledge of the specialty, is required to scrub and/or circulate, and oversees the development of core curricula in conjunction with clinical educators and system education.
