Position Summary Description Maintains all electrical and electronic equipment associated with the Energy Management Control Center (including digital computer systems, power supply systems, recorders, and instrumentation and communications equipment) in proper operating condition. Essential Functions: - Installs, maintains, and checks the master station Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) equipment at the Energy Management Control Center (EMCC) and remote terminal units in the field. - Maintains and installs Strip Chart Recorders, Display Boards, and related electrical and electronic systems. - Maintains computer terminals and teletype equipment. - Troubleshoots and repairs all EMCC related electronics and electrical systems, some to the component level. - Maintains equipment logs and maintenance records as directed on all equipment and systems. - Reports equipment maintenance problems and failures with recommendation of corrective action. - Maintains all EMCC Power Supply Equipment including the Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS) emergency diesel generator, storage batteries, and all associated switches, panels, and wiring. - Monitors and maintains EMCC computer rela...
