The successful candidate is expected to contribute to high‑quality engineering‑driven research , teaching, and supervision, and to strengthen the department’s research profile through collaboration with engineering disciplines, industry, and applied research partners. The position involves research in an engineering‑oriented, problem‑driven environment, where chemical engineering competences are applied in close interaction with other engineering fields such as process engineering, biotechnology, biochemical engineering, environmental and energy engineering. The candidate is expected to take an active role in research development, external funding activities, technology implementation, and education at bachelor, master, and PhD levels. Research and Teaching profile: Applicants should have a strong background in chemical engineering methods, process design, and systems engineering, and experience applying these competences to real‑world engineering challenges.
