Classification Title: Application Database Administrator I Classification Minimum Requirements: Associate's degree and two years of relevant experience; or a high school diploma or equivalent and four years of relevant experience. Appropriate college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience. Job Description: Database Development, Management and Administration - With guidance of senior staff, work to develop and optimize database objects to meet user requirements. Works in conjunction with server admin team members to install, configure, upgrade, and maintain the performance of database servers and their related application servers. - Defines users and enables data distribution to the right user, in appropriate format and in a timely manner.
