Description: Children's Healthcare of Atlanta and Emory University Department of Pediatrics are seeking a board-certified, academic pediatric endocrinologist to join our large and rapidly growing endocrinology group. Although a successful candidate will be called on to perform a combination of administrative, academic, and clinical activities, the exact proportions of these duties will depend on the applicant’s interests, experience, and expertise. The Division of Pediatric Endocrinology is composed of 23 pediatric endocrinologists, 2 psychologists, 20+ certified diabetes educators, 3 social workers, and a team of 32 administrative and nursing support personnel. Up to six pediatric endocrinology fellows participate in both clinical and academic activities. Emory University is ranked 3rd nationally for NIH funding for pediatric departments.
