Facilities & Grounds Technician (southern IN)

Job description

This position will need to be based in or around the southern Indiana region to be able to service our store and school locations in the area. The pay starts at $19/hr. and includes full benefits (below). The Facilities & Grounds Technician maintains and repairs equipment, buildings, and physical grounds throughout all the facilities operated by Goodwill of Central and Southern Indiana (GCSI). The Technician performs general repairs, preventive maintenance, relocations, and installations while continuously focusing on quality, safety, customer relations, and performance. The Technician ensures the accurate data input and completion of assigned work orders through the department's Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Example Duties and Activities: Troubleshoots, repairs, and completes routine maintenance of facility and physical grounds at all GCSI locations to ensure a safe and productive work environment, certify product quality, guarantee customer satisfaction, and promote continuous improvement.
