Description Position Summary: Farrelli’s hosts provides warm, friendly, and immediate greetings to guests at the door. Seats, and presents clean menus to guests in a friendly, professional, and quick manner. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: - Greet and seat guests, present menus to guests and inform them of special menu items. - Treat guests in a manner to ensure their complete satisfaction. - Run the floor plan board. - Observe tables and keep track of clean, dirty, and occupied tables. - Take guest information for waiting list and quote wait time to guests accurately when tables are not immediately available. - Clean, organize, and stock menus at host area. - Answer phone and questions concerning the menu, to go orders and the restaurant. - Fill takeout orders. - Interact with guests coming in and as they leave, ensuring a positive dining experience. - Maintain restrooms throughout shift. - Perform other duties as assigned.
