Valley View is seeking a full-time Floor Care Tech to assist our Environmental Services Department. Ideal candidate has previous floor care experience (carpet and tile). Able to operate all floor care related equipment (auto scrubber, buffers, carpet cleaners, etc.). Possesses a great work ethic and a positive attitude! This is a full-time, evening position with rotating weekends. The work schedule may vary, so flexibility with work assignments and schedule is a must. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred. Experience is preferred but not required. GENERAL OBJECTIVES: - Maintains tiled, carpeted and waxed floors in all areas of the hospital. - Services hospital areas to ensure the safety, health and morale of patients, visitors and staff and to facilitate patients' recovery by helping provide a clean, attractive, safe environment with minimal interference to others. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Operates and maintains floor care equipment safely and effectively. - Takes safety precautions when cleaning floors.
