Schedule Full-Time: 40 Hours/Weekly: Mon-Fri 7am-3:30pm: Every 3rd weekend 8 hr. shifts Every 3rd holiday 8 hr. shifts General Summary: Performs activities related to transportation of patients. Follows established safety guidelines and uses appropriate devices when transporting patients. Provides messenger services on request Essential Functions: - Transports patients to and from clinical, ancillary and support department areas as directed. - Assists clinical personnel in transferring patients to or from beds, chairs, wheelchairs or stretchers using appropriate body mechanics to perform patient lifts. - Assists with care and maintenance of department equipment and supplies.
