Description Haverford College Seeks a Visiting Assistant Professor of Visual Studies (One-Year Appointment). The Visual Studies Program at Haverford College invites applications for a one-year Visiting Assistant Professor position for Academic Year 2026–27. We seek an artist/filmmaker/scholar who can teach courses in experimental filmmaking and film/media theory, and who may also contribute electives in areas such as performance, conceptual art, exhibition practice, interactive media, the ethics of AI in digital media culture, or other interdisciplinary approaches to visual culture. This position replaces a faculty member on sabbatical and carries a 5-course teaching load across the year (e.g., 3-2) with no service expectations.
