Classification Title: Admissions Officer I Classification Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Job Description: The University of Florida is looking for an Admissions Officer I to join the Office of Admissions in the Division of Enrollment Management. In this role, you’ll help process student applications for undergraduate, graduate, professional, and certificate programs, making sure all information is accurate and completed on time. You’ll also answer questions from students and departments, provide excellent customer service, and keep records organized. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Application Processing & Data Management - Review and process applications for undergraduate, graduate, professional, certificate, and online programs - Maintain thorough knowledge of majors, degrees, and program levels to ensure efficient application processing. - Determine residency classification for tuition purposes based on Florida's Residency Rules and Regulations. - Finalize admitted student applications, review credentials, manage holds, and evaluate hold deferral requests.
