Title: Lead Custodial Worker, Housing Division: Finance and Administration: Department: Facility Operations and Planning: FLSA Status: Non-Exempt: Salary Range: Grade 7: $16.02/hour: EEO Job Group: 9 E8: Position Summary: Working supervisor who is responsible for planning and assignment of work for assigned custodial staff and full range of custodial duties related to the cleaning and maintenance of building and facilities. Duties/Responsibilities: - Plan, review, assign, and monitor the work of assigned custodial staff. - Train new staff members in the appropriate methods of cleaning duties, appropriate use and application of chemicals and cleaning solvent, equipment, and established departmental policies and procedures. - Supervise and/or setup and arrange furniture and equipment for classes and scheduled events. - Maintain custodial materials and supplies; receive and distribute materials and supplies as needed. - Maintain and account for custodial equipment and materials. - Inspect building and facilities to assure appropriate maintenance, safety, and cleanliness standards are maintained.
