Job description

As a Houseperson at Hyatt Centric Downtown Portland, you will support the housekeeping team in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of public areas, storage spaces, and back-of-house areas. You will assist in delivering supplies, setting up rooms, and responding to guest requests. Your role is critical in ensuring our guests experience a clean and welcoming environment throughout their stay. Qualifications: - Maintain cleanliness and organization in public areas, hallways, stairwells, and elevators. - Assist room attendants by delivering linen, amenities, and other supplies to guest rooms and housekeeping carts. - Empty trash and recycling from public and back-of-house areas. - Respond to guest requests for additional towels, pillows, blankets, and other amenities promptly. - Set up and break down meeting or event spaces as required. - Ensure proper stocking of housekeeping closets and carts. - Monitor and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department. - Assist with deep cleaning projects or special cleaning assignments. - Comply with all safety and sanitation policies, including those related to biohazards and hazardous materials. - Assist i...
