Job Summary: The Fleet Mechanic is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on company vehicles and equipment. This role ensures the fleet remains safe, operational, and compliant with safety regulations while minimizing downtime. Key Responsibilities: - Perform routine preventative maintenance on company trucks and trailers - Inspect vehicles and equipment to identify mechanical, electrical, or safety issues. - Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, suspension, and other components of trucks and trailers - Use computerized diagnostic tools and testing equipment to troubleshoot problems. - Maintain accurate service and repair records for each vehicle - Ensure vehicles meet DOT, OSHA, and company safety standards - Communicate with fleet ma...
