Inspecting Arborist Reference number: 11145: Closing date: 11:00pm, Thursday 11 June 2026 - Full-time permanent position. - Salary commencing at $85,114.74 per annum, plus 12% superannuation, commensurate with skills and experience. - Band 5. The Opportunity: Moonee Valley City Council is seeking a knowledgeable and community-focused Inspecting Arborist to join our City Presentation team. In this role, you will undertake proactive and reactive tree inspections across streets, parks and reserves, helping to maintain the health, safety and longevity of Council’s urban forest. Working closely with residents, contractors and internal stakeholders, you will provide professional arboricultural advice, respond to tree-related enquiries, assess tree condition and risk, and coordinate appropriate maintenance outcomes in line with Council policies and service standards. You will also contribute to permit assessments, support operational arboriculture programs and assist in improving systems and processes that support effective tree management across the municipality.
