Overview Location: Manchester Citadel (Manchester, CT): Status: Non-exempt,Temporary: Hours Per Week: as needed: Schedule: as needed for Sunday, 9:15 am – 11:15 am Scope of Position: Supervises all nursery activities for children from infants to five years old during Sunday morning Holiness Meetings to ensure their safety at all times. Responsibilities: - Change diapers and assist with the bathroom needs of children. - Constantly monitor and maintain the cleanliness and safety of the nursery. - Coordinate activities for the children in the nursery. - Create a safe, nurturing environment for children aged from infants to five years old. - Do not use mobile devices (cell phones, tablets, etc.) during work hours for any personal matters. - Enlist and assist in training volunteers for the nursery. - Follow all health and safety precautions. - Greet children and their parents at the door as they arrive, whenever possible. - Notify the supervisor of any needs or concerns. - Participate in regular planning. - Prepare and serve snacks and inventory supplies. - Provide at least one week's advanced notice of substitution needs to the supervisor. - Provide parents with contact information. -...
