Job Description: - Senior leadership opportunity - Pro-active & supportive leadership - Work for one of Australia’s leading hospital groups About the Role: The incumbent will work collaboratively with the Director of Orthopaedics in fulfilling the mission of the Hospital and the department. The primary role will be the day to day running of the Sarcoma section of the Department of Orthopaedics. Ensure that collaborations between Orthopaedic Surgery, Plastic Surgery, Medical Oncology, Radiotherapy ,Department of Medical Imaging and Pathology deliver an integrated, patient centric Sarcoma service. Facilitate the collaboration between the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre and St. Vincent's Hospital Melbourne in providing State wide Sarcoma services Provide clinical oversight and support for the Sarcoma Clinical Nurse. Assist the Director of Orthopaedics in the Sarcoma unit strategic plan, to be integrated with the broader Cancer Services strategy, including the ongoing resource needs of the Sarcoma unit Ensure leave is rostered fairly and that employees regularly take leave and do not accumulate excessive leave Provide feedback to the Director of Orthopaedics in relation to problems or is...
