Job description

JT4, LLC provides engineering and technical support to multiple western test ranges for the U.S. Air Force and Navy under the Joint Range Technical Services Contract, better known as J-Tech II. JT4 develops and maintains realistic, integrated test and training environments and prepares our nation's war-fighting aircraft, weapons systems, and aircrews for today's missions and tomorrow's global challenges. JOB SUMMARY - ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES: Perform operations on assigned Joint Data Network (JDN) / Link-16 equipment. Perform a variety of assignments involving technology applications involved in the installation, operation, testing, and maintenance of complex electronic/mechanical equipment and systems. - Supports functions as a network manager for locally operated networks and modify and operate equipment associated with Link-16 as required. - Provides the correct information required to operate in the network (as extracted from the appropriate Operational Tasking Data Links (OPTASK LINK) message) directly to own-unit platforms and to other participants. - Extracts data from an OPTASK LINK message, as defined in Mil-STD 6040, U.S. Message Text Formatting Program and to provide...
