Job Title: Electric Locator I, II Work Place Flexibility: Onsite: Legal Entity: Entergy Services, LLC: JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE: ELECTRIC LOCATOR I: Entry-level position responsible for locating a single utility under supervision. Requires physical stamina and basic technical skills to support utility protection efforts. JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: - Be a safety champion; obey all safe work procedures, perform daily Hazard Assessments, maintain vehicle inspections, attend all required safety meetings, complete all safety mandated training and report any safety events including near misses. - Capable of completing assigned single locating ticket Load with supervision. - Capable of closing out locate tickets on a tablet or computer - Can accurately locate, paint and flag one utility. - Able to read all maps and/or prints for one utility. - Inspect and report defective pedestals, meters, transformers etc. - Controls and safeguards keys assigned to them for use on customer’s property. - Detect and report suspected tampering with pedestals and equipment. - Record all completed tickets (work), utilizing proper codes. - Record/document inconsistencies in locating area. - Must have basic compu...
