Quality Engineer

Job description

Overview As a Quality Engineer, reporting to the Operations Manager, you will influence business success by applying your extensive quality background and expertise in quality assurance and quality control within a high-tech industry. Your work will impact all phases of production and distribution. You will support planning activities and deliverables for ongoing release cycles; supporting an exciting new range of products; carry out tasks and activities across production along with supporting the engineering department at times. Responsibilities: Key Areas of Responsibilities and Associated Duties - Collaborate with corporate and local management in the development of goals and long-term initiatives for the Quality Management System at Hexagon - Develop, implement, and monitor day-to-day quality control systems and processes that provide visibility into quality KPIs and our progress toward quality objectives - Designs or specifies inspection and testing mechanisms and equipment. - Analyzes production limitations and standards. - Recommends revision of specifications when indicated. - Formulates or assists in formulating quality control policies and procedures. - Works with the org...
