Job description

*Position contingent upon award of contract* Purpose and Scope: Perform a variety of engineering assignments in project development, design changes, operations, installation, and maintenance of HVAC controls and building automation systems at the Kennedy Space Center. This position will support Mission Support Planning and coordination, equipment Operations and Maintenance, HVAC controls and building automation project planning, improvements, and mission test procedure development. Job Duties and Essential Responsibilities: System Specific Perform a range of maintenance and sustaining work step development, analysis, or review tasks with little to no supervision and works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends related to mechanical engineering. Provide onsite technical guidance as needed for new or existing equipment installation and/or modifications that require HVAC controls and building automation expertise and demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques to come to a solution.
