Division Human Resources Manager

Job description

Position Purpose: Plans, leads, and coordinates all human resource management activities for the Trailer Division office in Canton. Also provides division-wide support and leadership in training, organizational development, wellness, and safety. Essential Functions: - Lead all aspects of the Human Resources function in the Trailer Division Office, Research & Development facility, and Lower Bay facility. - Establish a consistent, frequent HR presence at both locations - Provide HR consulting to the management teams on effective human resource planning and utilization and on maintaining positive employer-employee relationships - Partner with management to communicate HR policies, procedures, and programs - Manage the recruiting process for exempt and non-exempt employees using consistent recruiting and hiring practices to hire a superior workforce - Participate in conducting investigations when employee complaints or concerns surface - Take a leadership role with the training activities for the Trailer division, including training needs assessments, management development, and safety training.
