Description Centre College invites applications for a tenure-track position as Assistant Professor of Economics & Business, with a specialization in Macroeconomics, beginning in August 2026. We welcome applicants with research and teaching interests in macroeconomics, including macroeconomic aspects of public finance and open economy macroeconomics. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Economics by the time of appointment. We encourage applications from candidates who are committed to undergraduate education and will utilize a variety of pedagogical practices. As noted in the Statement on Community, Centre strives to create an environment where differences are celebrated rather than discouraged. The Economics & Business Program offers two degrees: 1) Business and 2) Economics & Finance. The teaching responsibilities include core and elective courses in the successful candidate’s specialty. The teaching load is six courses per academic year.
