Overview Edgewater Federal Solutions is seeking a dedicated Help Desk Support Intern to join our Corporate IT team at our corporate headquarters in Frederick, Maryland. The intern will work a schedule of 9:00am - 3:30pm Monday-Friday and will be expected to work onsite daily. Responsibilities: - Provide technical support for Windows operating systems and various software applications. - Provide on-site hardware support for the corporate office (including wireless displays, battery swaps for cameras, and printer support) - Assist in the provisioning and deployment of new hardware for users. - Assist Tier 1 team members with cleaning hardware before redeployment. - Assist Tier 1 team members with organizing hardware in the IT storage room. - Maintain a high level of customer service for all support requests. - Take ownership of user problems and be proactive when dealing with user issues. Qualifications: - Candidates pursuing a degree in computer science in related field preferred - Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to work onsite in Frederick, MD. - A team player with a customer-oriented approach. - Expe...
