Protection & Control Specialist

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Protection & Control Specialist to provide expert-level support for protection and control systems within transmission, distribution, substation, and power infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, safety, and performance of electrical power networks while supporting engineering, commissioning, and operational activities. Responsibilities Design and review protection and control schemes for transmission and distribution systems Configure and validate protection relay settings Lead Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) activities Support commissioning, energization, and troubleshooting activities Review engineering packages, technical specifications, and design documentation Perform fault analysis, protection coordination studies, and system assessments Ensure compliance with industry standards, utility requirements, and project specifications Collaborate with engineering, commissioning, construction, and operations teams Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers Support project delivery throughout design, testing, commissioning, and handover phase...
