Salary Range: $21.39 - $34.44/Hour Salary Grade: 13 FLSA: Nonexempt Purpose of Classification: The purpose of this classification is to perform electrical installation, maintenance, and repairs in County buildings and facilities. This classification is safety sensitive, subject to random drug testing in accordance with the County’s Drug & Alcohol Policy Essential Functions: The following duties are normal for this position. The omission of specific statements of the duties does not exclude them from the classification if the work is similar, related, or a logical assignment for this classification. Other duties may be required and assigned. Receives high priority assignments related to installation, maintenance and repairs to building utility power, electrical systems, and related equipment; expedites emergency repairs in cases of lightning damage and loss of utility power; and installs repairs and replaces electrical conductors, protective overcurrent devices, motors, switches and disconnect switches, lighting systems, appliances and general equipment.
