DevOps Engineer/Systems Engineer (Mission Systems) Location: McLean, VA: Must have an active TS/SCI FS Poly Role Overview: Join a specialized engineering team dedicated to designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise-grade mission systems, networks, and applications. You will play a critical role in driving DevOps excellence, ensuring high availability, and automating complex cloud infrastructures. Requirements: Mandatory Skills: - CI/CD & Automation: Proven experience building and managing robust pipelines with Jenkins (required). - Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Strong proficiency in Terraform (required) for provisioning scalable AWS environments. - AWS Expertise: Deep hands-on experience with core services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, and CloudWatch . - Scripting: Advanced proficiency in Bash and Python (both required) for automation and systems integration. - Containerization: Experience managing containerized workloads using Docker or Podman . - Database Administration: Experience self-hosting, tuning, and securing PostgreSQL and MySQL , including high-availability and recovery strategies. - Observability: Hands-on experience with monitoring and alerting st...
