JOB SUMMARY: Manage the activities of the Quality Assurance group in determining and monitoring various quality indicators throughout the facility, developing trend analysis. Provides input to Top Management regarding key performance indicators of the Facility. Works with department heads to develop and track Continuous Improvement efforts. Interfaces with customers and suppliers to understand and coordinate the resolution of quality issues. Considers the impact of quality decisions, as they affect profitability. Responsible for the coordination and integration of supplier quality issues/requirements to ensure regulatory and QMS requirements are fulfilled. To include supplier evaluation, approval and monitoring. Schedule and manage supplier QMS and/or Process audits and surveillance visits. Establish and maintain adequate processes and records to meet QMS and regulatory requirements. Quality representative participating with trans-departmental team to ensure the supplier selection and maintenance process is efficient and cost effective. Maintain approved supplier database.
